Tuftco’s ColorTurf Machine is the latest technology for tufting patterned turf. High pile patterned turf is now achievable in one seamless technology.
● Tufts up to 10 colors
● Utilizes standard-sized tufting needles which are readily available from numerous suppliers
● Available in 2m, 4m or 5m widths
● Pile heights from 3/8 inches to 2 ¾ inches (10mm to 70mm)
● Full pattern repeat
● ColorTurf uses “traditional tufting techniques” utlizing a standard hook system to create consistent tufted cut piles that do not require off-line shearing.
● Optional: V-Tech, Variable Gauge Technology for tufting multiple gauge densities with no machine changeovers.
● Multiple machine gauges available, such as 3/4, 5/8, 1/2 , 3/8
●No seams. Reduces waste, labor, time, and points of failure while reducing potential injuries
Hooks and knives are secured in pairs, with a set tension angle created by the Wedge Clamp II knife bar. The wedge design firmly seats each knife block. A fixture is included to provide a method for properly setting knife height.
